IFRS and XBRL
A start of a great career. Did you see the article, "The Future is Now: XBRL Emerges as Career Niche" in the Journal of Accountancy?
A personal journal as I work. Work includes writing articles, presenting seminars and workshops, creating learning objects, writing book chapters, and yes - some day, I will get my book done, gang!

XBRL
Sunday, I teach FL551 -Analysis and Reporting at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. This is a new course in the Financial track of the Masters of Leadership Development, affectionately known as the MLD program. To get prepped for the course, I completed the International XBRL certification course and I'm prepping for the exam. The tagging concept was never difficult to understand because I understand HTML and XML; however, I had so many misconceptions about XBRL before I took the training. I would recommend this training to anyone. I also want to take the AICPA US GAAP Taxonomy training when it becomes available. If your company has a story to share about XBRL, please feel free to comment.
